Australian Fuel Distributors has become one of the largest privately owned fuel Distributors in Australia. From the small beginning of Dick David Fuel Supplies in Katherine in 1984. Under the strong leadership of Dick David the group is now the BP Distributor from the Hall's Creek in WA to Karumba on the Gulf of Carpentaria south to Birdsville and west to Uluru. AFD operates depots in Darwin, Katherine, Alice Springs, Kununurra and Cloncurry. In addition the Group operates 10 modern service stations with total employment of over 160 employees.
